On September 18, the start of Jewish New Year 5781, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, beloved Supreme Court Justice, staunch feminist, and friend to the LGBTQ community, affectionately nicknamed “the Notorious RBG,” was taken from us too soon and James Adler, composer, pianist, and teacher, was inspired to write a piano piece, “For Notorious,” which he describes as a “heartfelt remembrance.” The dedication reads,

Ruth Bader Ginsburg/Our Rockstar
Of Blessed Memory
Rosh Hashana 5781.”
